We use the Mailman package, this provides a web based and an E-mail based command interface, as well as managing the E-mail lists, sending, receiving and dealing with bounces totally transparently. In order for the web based subscription facilities to work you need an “always on” connection to the Internet such as ADSL, leased line or cable. You will also need a symbolic “name” for your server. How you achieve this depends on whether you have a fixed IPA address from your ISP. Contact us for details.
