.. The server supports a fully featured web mail application, IMP which is part of the web based horde application suit.  More details are here.  IMP can be used to replace an E-mail client such as outlook, etc.  Because the E-mail is only kept on the server, then it is available from any workstation connected to the server, or from the Internet via a VPN or via a secure https connection.  This means you can look at your E-mail on the server from an Internet Cafe!.  You can use both, and IMP will show any E-mail not downloaded to your E-mail client, this can be very useful while travelling This is a picture of the IMP inbox. and this is having clicked on an E-mail:
